American Akaushi Association Cattle Connect

The American Akaushi Association (“the Association”) receives and records information provided by its member breeders reflecting the ownership, location, and pedigree of the cattle they produce, backed by industry-standard genetic testing. Members are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide to the Association, for keeping their herd information up to date, and for dealing fairly with one another in the purchase and sale of cattle and genetics. The Association does not buy or sell cattle, and as reflected in Rule 1000 of the Association Rules, the Association is not liable for any warranties made by cattle sellers to cattle buyers. Naturally, the Association cannot resolve disputes between members as to the purchase and sale of cattle and genetics, such as disputes over the ownership of cattle or genetics, or disputes over their quality, condition, or status. The Association does not take positions in such disputes between or involving members, and relies on members and those with whom they deal to resolve those disputes as they would any other commercial transactions.
